NEET Exam Pattern: Total Marks, Paper Pattern and Questions

The candidates applying for the NEET UG must want to know the NEET exam pattern. Every year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). NEET Language Preferences

NEET will consist of 200 multiple-choice questions worth four marks each, out of which only 180 must be answered. NEET question papers will include questions from class 11 and 12 syllabi in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are the language that a candidate will be able to select for NEET question papers in 2023. While filling out the application form, candidates can select the language of the NEET 2023 exam paper. NEET Marking Scheme Details

Review the NEET 2023 marking scheme to understand how the marks will be assigned by the authorities after the exam.

  • In NEET, 4 marks will be awarded for each correct response, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect attempt.
  • According to the NEET exam pattern 2023, there is no negative marking if a question is not attempted.
  • Once marked on the NEET 2023 OMR sheet, answers cannot be modified.
  • Candidates are urged not to attempt repeated answers during the NEET exam because doing so would result in a negative mark.
